Investing for your pension

Investing contributions for your pension

Mars Pension Fund wants to be able to pay all pensions now and in the future. That is why we invest the contributions we receive for our pensions. This is how we build up pension capital. Read in our Statement of Investment Principles how we invest for your pension.

We are advised by professionals

We need to take good care of the money for pensions. We like to be advised on this. Within the pension fund we have an internal investment committee for this purpose. We also engage advisers from outside the fund.

Diversified investments

We invest all over the world. In addition, we choose different types of investments. A large number of managers from outside the fund take care of our investments.

Mars Investment Team

The Mars Investment Team regulates and monitors all our investment activities. In addition, the team reports on investments to the board.

ESG

Responsible Investing

The pension fund believes that sustainability risks should be included in the general risk considerations in order to be able to make well-considered investment decisions and to best represent the long-term interests of our members and pensioners.

Investing for the ASP plan

For the Associate Selection Plan, we invest differently than for the final pay and ARP plans. We use so-called "index-related funds" to invest for the ASP plan. Read more about the index funds we invest in for your retirement in the ASP plan here.
