New members on the Accountability Council were appointed

19 June 2024

Earlier this year we informed you about two vacancies for the Accountability Council. We were looking to appoint new members representing the employees and the pensioners. Both vacancies have since been filled. The Accountability Council is now complete with six members.

Member on behalf of pensioners
Chairman and member of the Accountability Council Ad van Gestel will stay for another term. Ad has long had an above average interest in the subject of retirement and has started as a member of the Accountability Council short after his retirement on the 1st of July 2014. By now Ad has nearly ten years of experience, of which the last seven years as Chairman. The board is happy to announce that the combination of Ad his experience and motivation have contributed to his reappointing in the Accountability Council.

Member on behalf of the employees
Because Mars Pension Fund sets high standards for the Accountability Council, the pension fund trains its own candidates through the Talentpool.
From this Talentpool there has been a fit candidate selected to represent the employees within the Accountability Council: Dennis Kaijser. The board welcomes Dennis' appointment, and he now joins the Accountability Council. There were no other candidates. More about the reason why Dennis has been selected as a fit candidate can be read here.
