The interest accrual for the second half of 2022 has been set. For active and former participants in the ARP plan, the interest rate is 12.73% (annualized).
In the ARP plan, you form a capital in your ARP account. Mars Pension Fund invests this capital for you. On this ARP account, you get a return. We try to give as high a return as possible, but the return is at most 3% higher than the price index.
How is the interest rate determined?
The interest rate is based on the following assumptions:
- The interest addition depends on the return and resources of the fund.
- The maximum annualized interest rate is the price index figure plus 3 percentage points.
- The price index figure is published by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS). For the price index figure from July, the period considered is March-March, or March 2021 to March 2022.
These assumptions now result in an interest rate addition of 12.73%.
