The board of Mars Pension Fund decides at the end of each year whether we can increase the pensions of pensioners and deferred members, and if so by how much. This is called indexation. This year more time is needed to make this decision.

In our pension plan you can start your pension from the age of 50. There are rules that determine whether you can continue working alongside your pension. These rules have changed with the introduction of the Future Pensions Act on 1 July 2023.

The interest accrual for the ARP plan for the first half of 2023 has been set. For active members this is 3.21% on an annual basis. For deferred members this is 0%.

The introduction of the lump sum pension choice has been postponed again and will now take effect on 1 January 2025 at the earliest. That date is also not yet certain, because both the Senate and the House of Representatives still have to approve the bill.

The state pension (AOW) age will remain the same in 2029, namely 67 years and three months.
