Do you live abroad and do you receive a request from us to provide a 'life certificate'? Then use the app!
‘Life certificate’ via an app
To continue paying out your pension, we ask you to provide a 'Life certificate' every year. You will receive a form from us that you complete and have it signed or stamped by an authorized body. From now on, this can be done a lot faster and easier via an app.
What do you need?
To send your ‘Life certificate’ you need the following:
- a smartphone (this does not have to be your own)
- your identity document (passport or identity card) with a chip
- the personal QR-code in the letter you receive from us
- the ReadID Ready app
How does it work?
If you live abroad, you will receive a letter from us no later than September. With the app you scan the QR code in the letter. Then you scan your ID and take a picture of your face, a kind of selfie. You will receive a confirmation from us within two weeks after you have submitted your 'Life certificate' digitally.
