... you change jobs? Often you can transfer your pension from the old to the new pension fund. We call this value transfer. Previously, you had to apply for this within six months of changing jobs. This has been changed.

More time for value transfer

Did you start working for Mars on or after January 1st, 2015? Then you can always apply for a value transfer (before 1 January 2015 this had to be done within six months). The same applies if you leave Mars and become a participant in a pension fund other than Mars Pension fund.

Are you a member of the final pay plan and have you accrued pension with a previous employer? Then you can no longer take this with you to Mars Pensioenfonds, because the possibility to request this has now expired.

Is value transfer interesting for you?

It might be. Value transfer is often advantageous if the financial situation of the new pension fund is much better than the old one.
