What are our costs?

What are our costs?

The Mars Pension Fund incurs various costs for the administration of the pension plan. First, there are the costs of the administration itself. These include the costs of payment of pensions and the collection of contributions from the employer.

There are also costs associated with communication, for instance the construction of the website and the Uniform Pension Overview. Second, there are the costs of managing the fund assets. Investment of assets costs money. For instance, we have to pay the parties that invest the fund’s assets on our behalf. There are also transaction costs. These include the costs charged by the stock exchange for the purchase or sale of shares or bonds.

A breakdown of the costs we incur is given in the annual report.
