Vacancies on the Accountability Council on behalf of pensioners and active members

22 February 2026

The board is accountable to the Accountability Council, in which active members, pensioners, and the employer are represented. Each group normally provides one member. Due to the important issues surrounding the new pension scheme, the board temporarily expanded the Accountability Council from three to six members in 2022. Following the expiry of the current term of office of one member of the Accountability Council representing pensioners and one member of the Accountability Council representing active members, two vacancies have arisen within the Accountability Council of Mars Pension Fund. These vacancies have a shorter term until the transition date to the new pension scheme.

Eric van Deijck is available for the vacancy on behalf of active members. Harry Faassen is available for the vacancy on behalf of pensioners. You can object to the reappointment of Harry and/or Eric and/or apply for the position yourself.

Candidate on behalf of pensioners

Harry Faassen

Harry Faassen is available for the vacancy on behalf of the pensioners. Harry was a board member of Mars Pension Fund for several years on behalf of the members and also on behalf of the pensioners. He was also a member of the Accountability Council for four years. In all these positions, Harry gained extensive experience in all aspects of the pension fund.
