As communicated earlier, the start of Mars Pension Fund’s new pension plan as per January 1, 2027 is not feasible. Mars Pension Fund is now expected to introduce the new pension plan on January 1, 2028.

Until September last year, we expected the new plan to start on January 1, 2027. In discussions with our pension administrator Blue Sky Group, it became clear that this desired transition date was not feasible. 

The transition to the new pension plan requires more work, attention, and care than previously estimated by the pension administrator. 

Converting accrued and current pensions to the new plan is a complex process, and we believe it is important that this is carried out with great accuracy and care. We therefore consulted extensively with the pension administrator about a new date for the start of the new pension plan. After studying the various options, January 1, 2028, emerged as the best alternative. 

We regret that the introduction will take place later than we had initially intended. We will do everything we can to ensure that the preparations run as smoothly as possible, so that our new pension plan can take effect on January 1, 2028.
