Login help

In MyMarsPension you can see the amount of your pension, make personal choices and receive your pension mail. You can log in in three different ways:

  • Via DigiD
  • Via eIDAS
  • MyMarsPension account

Choose the desired login method and follow the step-by-step plan to log in to MyMarsPension.

Login via DigiD

Login MyMarsPension account

Do you live abroad and don't have a DigiD or eIDAS? Then you can log in securely using a username and password. 

Step 1: Go to MyMarsPension

Step 2: Choose MyMarsPension account

Step 3: Enter your username and password

Step 4: Confirm login with a code via verification app

Securely log into MyMarsPension account with an authentication app

From September 2022 onwards, this way of logging in will be extra secured with a verification app. This means that you confirm your login details in a verification app after logging in.

All about logging in via an authentication app

You can use any authentication app you can download from the App Store and Google Play Store. The most commonly used apps are Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator, but Twilio Authy or FreeOTP also work.

You download a verification app on your cell phone or tablet through the app store. For Android this is the Google Play Store and for Apple it is the App Store.

Are you going to use an authentication app for the first time? Then register your app first!

Step 1: Download a verification app of your choice

Step 2: Open the verification app

Step 3: Click on + or add account

Step 4: Using your app, scan the QR code on screen or copy and enter the code below it.

Step 5: Click the continue registration process button

You can disconnect your app. You do this when:

  • you are using a new or different phone
  • you want to use another app
  • you are going to log in via DigiD or eIDAS

After disconnecting you will receive a confirmation email and you can register another (different) verification app.

If you have connected a verification app to your MyMarsPension, you will receive a confirmation email. From then on, you will use a verification code on your app when logging in with username and password.

Frequently asked questions

DigiD can be used by:

  • all residents of the Netherlands with a BSN number.
  • people living outside the Netherlands but receiving AOW from the Netherlands.

On the website of the central government you can read which countries this applies to. This list is updated regularly.

You do not have to notify changes if you live in the Netherlands. Changes of address, notifications of marriage, death or divorce are received automatically by us through the municipality as long as you live in the Netherlands. You therefore do not have to inform us of any such changes. A different e-mail address or account number can be reported in My Details.
