We aim to increase the pensions of the final pay plan every year (indexation). As per January, 1, 2026, the pensions of pensioners and deferred members of the final pay plan will be increased by 2.46%.

The current term on the Board of Mars Pension Fund of Wim van de Laar ends in March 2026. The Board of Mars Pension Fund would like Wim to remain as a board member for another two years during the ongoing transition to the new pension plan, partly because Wim made an important contribution to the design of the new plan.

You can log in to MyMarsPension using DigiD or eIDAS. You can now also apply for a DigiD if you live abroad and do not yet have one.

Now that we know a new pension plan is on its way, we often get asked, “When's the best time for me to retire?” Unfortunately, there's no clear-cut answer to that question. But we can give you some tips.

The interest accrual for the ARP plan for the second half of 2025 has been set. For active as well as deferred members this is 6.69% on an annual basis.
