Every month, you receive your pension from Mars Pension Fund on or around the 1st day of the month. Starting in July 2026, we will change the payment date for your pension to the 20th of each month. This change does not mean that you will miss a payment, but that you will receive it later in the same month.

What will change?

We realize that this may be a big change for you and that you will need to bridge a few weeks financially. To take this into account as much as possible, we are postponing the payment date in stages:

• Your May pension will be paid on Monday, May 4 (there is a bank holiday on May 1 due to
  Labor Day). If you receive state pension (AOW), you will receive your AOW vacation
  allowance at the end of May.
• Your June pension will be paid on Friday, June 12.
• Your July pension will be paid on Monday, July 20.

Starting in July, your pension will always be paid on the 20th of the month, unless this day falls on a weekend or public holiday. In such cases, you will receive your pension on the next working day – as is currently the case.

Why are we changing the payment date?

Most other pension funds pay their pensions towards the end of the month. This is also more in line with the payment of statutory benefits, such as the state pension (AOW). Finally, this prepares us for the transition to the new pension plan, in which the administration will be set up for payments later in the month.

Please note direct debits

If you have certain expenses, such as automatic debits, that are tied to the date you currently receive your Mars pension, make sure that the balance in your bank account and your scheduled payments are still in line with each other after the change.
